IBM ThinkPAd R32 VPN and DVD

My company uses IBM thinkpad notebooks model R32 with DVDRom and DVD player InterVideo WinDVD. After install the vpn client version 4.x.x when use the DVDRom the move stop and continue sometimes. I used the software "filemon" and verified the DVDPlayer stoped and reloaded sound driver. When unistall the vpn client the DVD movies starts ok.

Any idea about this ?

This could be due to Insufficient RAM, Older version of DVD application or you are using an outdated verstion of Direct X.
