IDS Director 2.2.1

Hi I have installed the IDS Director 2.2.1 into a Solaris 2.7 machine. (HP-OV 6.1 installed)

I got confusion on the CLI command "nrvers" and "nrconns". Both of them returns the strange messages. Here is the screen capture.

$ nrvers

Application Versions for

The version of the signature update currently installed is:

Error: Can't talk to 100.10

$ nrconns

Connection Status for

Error: Problem sending query to nr.configd

Re: IDS Director 2.2.1

Very sorry that, for the "nrvers" problem, I have fixed it.... The problem is I using su to switch the user account instead of logon the 'netrangr' directly...

Re: IDS Director 2.2.1

You can also use "su - netrangr" instead of "su netrangr" the "-" lets the OS know that you want the new user's environment to be used instead of the current environment.

As a side note, I recommend upgrading to 2.2.3 before proceeding further.
