i will try blocking options with Cisco Router

which image should i have ? 56 or 168 ?

i will try the stick utilities to see if it is not disturbing the ids engine. Do you know where i can found a version for linux Suse 7

I'm not sure which image you are referring to in the 2nd paragraph.

I would however, suggest upgrading to 2.5(1)S3 on the sensor (CCO).

Our 3.0 sensor software which will be released within the next few weeks will have a rate-limiting feature that will allow you to deal with attacks using Stick. It will provide a mechanism to consolidate numerous alarms into single events while providing contextual info. within the consolidated event that indicates the number of alarms were consolidated.
