IDSM still in faulty mode

Hi everybody,

Could you have any idea that the status often appears 'Faulty' when IDSM card was plugged into cat65k? Since the card was running as normal and has just plugged it out, then re-insert again ... This card is running the signature 3.0.3-S13 with IOS 6.3(7).

I have tried many methods in many times, e.g. moved it into another slot, reset it to maintenance mode, and power it up / down. The error message appears like this:

Console> (enable) 2002 May 21 22:35:25 %SYS-3-MOD_FAIL:Module 5 failed to come online

So, what can I do? What the method can isolate the problem? Thanks a lot.

you may need to open a case with cisco. Normally, it shows failed to come online could mean you didn't push it all the way in, but if you have done so, and you have tried in different slots, then it's time to open a case with Cisco.
