IDSMC server rebuild

We ahd an issue with our management station and had to rebuild the server. The IDSMC signatures are at 4.0(2)S43 while my two 4230's are at 4.1(1)S58. Do I need to load each signature update in succession on the server to get them to the same signature level or can I just load 4.1(1)S58. Once they are in-sync I will bring them to the current signature level. Also is there any way to tell the server is completed loading the signatures. It says it is a background task and could run for hours. Is there an easier way to do this?

If you want to have all the signatures on the IDSMC you need to install all the updates. It appears to help if you reboot the system after you apply one of the minor updates. Hope this helps.
