hello, all...

i have a small remote LAN with one IP address blocked by a PIX 501 connected to a cable modem. i have only one IP address, so i'm PATing to allow internal hosts to get to the internet.

however, i would like to PC anywhere to various internal hosts from another network over the internet. if i'm PATing, is there a way to map the ports to specific machines?

how would i accomplish this? would i have to configure PC Anywhere to use different port connections for the different machines?

Thanks,

Eddie

You can accomplish this with port redirection, which lets you create Layer-4 statics. Check out http://www.cisco.com/warp/public/707/28.html#port for the details.

You'll also need to configure pcAnywhere to use different port connections for different machines, and permit inbound connections to those ports in your access list or conduit.
