Inter IEV host updating

Hi,

I suspect the answer to this is "no" but I wonder if someone more knowledgeable could answer the following please?

Hypothetical scenario...

IDS Sensor on same LAN as an IEV host. If we also had a another remote IEV host on a different network (assume IP connectivity, IPSec/SSH comms all OK between sensor and IEV host etc), when an alarm on one IEV host is acknowledged/status changed/deleted, can the IEV that makes that change then update the other remote IEV host?

Regards

Ali

Re: Inter IEV host updating

You are correct. The answer is no. The reason is the alarm database in IEV is stored locally. Each IEV pulls the alarms from sensor and store them into its local IEV box. So when you manipulate the alarm data (delete/acknowledged/...) through the GUI in one box, it won't affect any other remote IEV box.
