ip address outside HELP

I have PIX 506E Version 6.2(2) and one public static IP that currently is not assigned to anything. The current configuration has this entry:

ip address outside pppoe setroute

I need to configure the public static IP to access a private PC, so I had tried the statements listed below without success. How can I configure this public static IP to access this private PC or do I need an additional public IP, one to assign to the PIX firewall and the second to this private PC?

access-list outside_access_in permit tcp any host 64.236.16.20 range 1024 1048

ip address outside 64.236.16.20 255.255.255.255 pppoe setroute

static (inside,outside) 64.236.16.20 192.168.28.12 netmask 255.255.255.255 0 0

Thanks in advance

Re: ip address outside HELP

as long as the additional public ip is routed through the existing pix public ip, there is no need to modify the pix outside ip at all. and this routing should be taken care of by the isp.

if so, then all you need are:

access-list outside_access_in permit tcp any host 64.236.16.20 range 1024 1048

access-group outside_access_in in interface outside

static (inside,outside) 64.236.16.20 192.168.28.12 netmask 255.255.255.255

clear xlate local 192.168.28.12

i suggest you to verify with the isp, as how the additional public ip is routed.
