IP Inspect - domain logins fails

Hi Everyone,

I've got a few sites that are having issues during logon to a win2k3 domain from a seperate VLAN.

If the IP Inspect is disabled, domain login is fine. With the IP Inspect on, the client can't authenticate to the domain.

Basic vlan routing, Pings, web traffic etc always work fine on the 2800 series ISR.

I don't control the 2800 series ISR, but the router management team don't understand why the IP Inspect is breaking the domain logins.

Cheers

Peter

Re: IP Inspect - domain logins fails

Hi I suggest to configure

ip inspect log drop-pk

this will show the packets been dropped. They you can perform a login test and see which traffic is using .. you can then exempt that traffic from been inspected ... perhaps communication to teh domain controllers

I hope it helps ..lease rate it if it does !!!
