IP/IPSEC VPN failover

We have a offcie with 300 users

Application that will be used on Lan :- Voice, Video Conferencing, Wireless, IP VPN with

some other site over internet.

We are going for 3Mbps Internet Bandwidth on Ethernet as last mile interface.

Kindly suggest on the below listed points:- 1) How do we build redundancy for the primary

link. (Thinking of going for additional ethernet (Standby mode) last mile as backup for

primary link failure.

2)Router we are looking at is 2801 with advanced ip services with 3 FE interfaces...is it ok

or we go ahead with 1841 router.

3) Continuing on redundancy can we have primary link on ethernet and backup on 2 seria links

of 2Mbps each...how will both the serial interface act as backup for 3Mbps primary link on ethernet.

4) How can we maintain the VPN tunnel between the two sites A & B in case of either primary or backup link failure.

Valued inputs with configuration will be appreciated.

Regards

There are a number of Cisco solutions to your question.

Personally, I'd get a second router, and use DMVPN with GLBP (or HSRP).

DMVPN

http://www.cisco.com/en/US/products/ps6658/products_ios_protocol_option_home.html

GLBP

http://www.cisco.com/en/US/products/ps6600/products_data_sheet0900aecd803a546c.html

It doesn't get any easier, or more flexible than this.
