ip nat source static network

when using the follwoing NAT statment how are the translations performed? will the global host adress always match the local host address? (i.e. will 172.31.1.1 always be translated to 172.102.10.1 ?)

ip nat outside source static network 172.31.1.0 172.102.10.0 255.255.255.0 vrf vpn-vst

Thanks in advance!

Re: ip nat source static network

If you use One-One Mapping using the statement ip nat outside source static 172.31.1.1 172.102.10.1 it will definitely map 172.31.1.1 to 172.102.10.1. But given the network statement we could say this for sure.
