IPIP over IPSec: is it possible?

I need to know if it is possible to configure cisco routers to create an IPIP (IP in IP) tunnel over an IPSec tunnel, the remote end-points of the two tunnels possibly different. It seems to me that similar functionality can be provided by using GRE over IPsec, but I wish to be able to use a non-cisco device at the other end. Can somebody please help?

I haven't personally tested it, but I can see no reason why it wouldn't work.

You might have to be carefull with your MTU though.
