IPsec over WAN link

Hell-o,

Can you direct to a doc that references IPsec configuration on Cisco 2501series routers? Our goal is to encrypt the traffic across a T1 line between two 2501 routers. Any suggestions, advise, greatly welcome.

TIA,

Gary

Check this link!

http://www.cisco.com/warp/public/707/dlsw.shtml

In the above link, the traffic that is encrypted is dlsw. You can just change the traffic to what ever you want. Just change the access list appropriately.

Check this page for more samples.

Re: IPsec over WAN link

You can run IPSec on the 2501 plataform, but it depends on what type of encription you need to use and what type and quantity of traffic you need to encript.

I have running IPSec on the 2500 plataform.
