IPSEC (sa_initiate) message

I have an configuration with an central site and two remote site, connected through IPSEC VPN on DSL network.

With the 12.1.5 YB5 version each time an packet is passed through crypto access-list I seed on the router an message that say

IPSEC (sa_initiate): Sending bogus packet to dialer for classification.

and the VPN doesn't work.

Does somebody know what this message mean exactly ?

Re: IPSEC (sa_initiate) message

Hi,

Seems like you are hitting the following:

CSCdu41874, which was fixed in the following 12.1 & 12.2codes:

12.1(12.05)EC, 12.1(12.05)E, 12.1(11.05)EC, 12.1(11.05)E, 12.1(11b)E

12.2(06.04)B 12.2(04)XM 12.2(06.04)PB 012.001(012.002)12.2(06.02u)DA 12.2(05.08)PI 12.2(05.08)T 12.2(05.08)S 12.002(005.008)

If you cannot get access to the required code, open a TAC case for one to be posted for you,

Hope this helps,

Regards,

Aamir
