IPSec VPN question...

I am setting up an IPSec VPN over TCP 443 using a Cisco 3005 Concentrator. Now in my testing I am able to connect to the VPN when connected from the same subnet. However, when I try to connect from outside I get the following message:

334 01/17/2006 14:04:51.480 SEV=5 IP/49 RPT=32

Headend transmitting TCP SYN-ACK pkt to client XX.YY.ZZ.115, TCP dest port 2007

So I know that the traffic is at least getting to my Concentrator.

I know I am missing something, but I can't figure out what it is.

Any help would be appreciated.

Hello. This is probably related to the fact that the concentrator is listening on port 443 for you to be able to manage the appliance. It's been a while since I last configured a 3k VPN Concentrator, but I do believe there's an option for you to disable HTTP and keep HTTPS when managing the 3005 using the GUI. Check if this is the case, and try establishing your sessions on port 80 instead. Hope this works!
