Is it possible to set the speed and duplex on the sniff interface.

Not sure on how to set the above on the i386 Solaris platform with the spwr interface.

Not that I am aware of for the spwr interface.

If you need to set speed and duplex, I would recommend switching your iprb and spwr interfaces. Using spwr for command and control and iprb for sniffing. You can set these parameters with the iprb driver. You can do a man iprb on most Solaris boxes to get the syntax. The iprb driver config file is located in /kernel/drv/iprb.conf.

-ForceSpeedDuplex

Default: 5 (Auto-negotiate)

Allowed Values: 4 (100 FDX)

3 (100 HDX)

2 (10 FDX)

1 (10 HDX)

Specify the speed and duplex mode for each instance.

Example: ForceSpeedDuplex=5,4;

Sets iprb0 to autonegotiate and iprb1 to 100 FDX.
