ISDN backedup Leased line with IPSEC

hi all

i have a LL connecitivity to my central location backed up with ISDN bri line .

i m using Single Des encryption for security purpose.

when i make my LL down isdn triggers no issues i m still connected with my server, pinging works fine both from PC and extended from my router.

but whn my LL comes back my ISDN goes down also the connectivity to my server.if i ping during tht i m unable to ping from my pc but with the extended from my ruoter its happening.

Wht may be the possible reason??anything related to memory ??

What routing protocol is invloved? What are the ISDN timeouts and IPSEC timeouts? Though not immediate, does it resume working after 5-10 minutes?

It sounds like it just needs some fine tuning.

Hi Sean

Just static routes in place.ISDN delay timeout is 5 secs.it doesnt work untill unless i reset my router once.

its sort of headache each n everytime to reset.

Well, you can reconfigure a bit to add basic routing and use dialer watch for the ISDN. Or configure the ISDN as a backup for the LL.
