We are thinking of using a Cisco 871 ISR in place of our already configured PIX 501 routers to connect to a Cisco VPN 3000 Concentrator. The 501 is currently configured to perform the following basic functions.
1. DHCP server for the LAN interface. (Private address assigned)
2. Port address translation for the WAN Interface (overload-public address assigned)
3. Vpnclient mode to receive IPSec parameters from the concentrator
vpnclient server <server address>
vpnclient mode network-extension-mode
vpnclient vpngroup <group name> password <pass>
vpnclient username <username> password <pass>
vpnclient management clear
Is there a person on this list that could help us with a simple configuration template that would be able to replace the 501 configuration with an IOS equivalent of the above functions?
Is there such a thing called vpnclient within IOS.? If so, what is it called?
