Issue with 6500's after upgrading to CSM 3.1

After upgrading from 3.01 to 3.1 and doing a restore from backup. I am having issues with the 6500's. CSM states the 6500 needs an inventory discovery.

When I do the inventory discovery CSM complains I don't have the 6500 set to be in VTP tansparent mode.

I have read the instructions for migrating 6500's and it asks me to read \MDC\log\readme.txt. Surprise Surprise the file doesn't exist.

Any help will be appreciated.

you need to setup the internal ports (dot1q, trunk, port-channel, etc.) is automatic with the

exception of the VLANs on the trunk, which must be manually added using

set trunk 3/1 in CatOS.
