Java/Active X filtering

I know you can block Java and Active X with a PIX but are there product available that will do this intelligently rather than a full block? Maybe another vendor if not in Ciscos portfolio

Also as the PIX can block java and active-x on port 80 is there any other types of mobile code I need to be aware of?

Re: Java/Active X filtering

Products from WebSense and N2H2 filter out specific URL's in conjunction with the PIX, not sure if they can be set up to filter out just Java and ActiveX, I don't believe they can but may be wrong on that.

Java and ActiveX are the only ones you can filter within the PIX. They're certainly the most dangerous from a hacker's point of view. ActiveX filtering merely comments out everything between the tags, which can also include a Java applet btw.
