l2l vpn behind PAT network

Hi,

I'm after basic advice as to whether or not it's going to be possible to run a l2l vpn between a central PIX and a number of remote devices, possibly 1841 routers, situated behind a PAT-ting 3G ISP. I know i can easily establish a software RA VPN over a 3G link, but have doubts about the theory of placing a routable /24 behind either an 1841 with the new 3G hwic, or maybe an ASA 5505 behind a linksys 3G router.

We had previously experimented briefly with a PIX 501 on the remote side, but as those guys don't run pixos 7 they can't, afaik, do nat-t, which would be one link in the chain.

Thanks

Chris

You could L2L VPN provided you enable NAT-T ofcourse....And if you can ensure that no traffic will be originated from Hub to the spoke. It will work fine if you can ensure that it is always the spoke that will trigger the tunnel
