We have a Satellite link as the primary link between a branch office and the headquarters. We have a L2L vpn tunnel as the backup link between these two locations. The two locations use the same IP Network, accept the subnet is different. These are the problems being experienced.
1. The L2L tunnel drops as soon as the primary link drops.
2. We're unable to access devices on the remote branch office through the L2L vpn tunnel
3. We're able to ping the outside interface of the remote branch firewall but not the inside.
When the primary link is down and I'm required to use the VPN tunnel what do I need to sitting on my PC on the remote LAN?
