I have installed Cisco VPN v3.50 (Arris corp standard) on 3 machines running Windows-XP Home edition. The desktop is an HP Pavilion P4 and connects just fine to the Arris corporate network, and fully authenticates without difficulty. However, my two laptops, running the same VPN Client and OS, both reboot when authenticating, and never connect, i.e. never complete authentication. One laptop is an HP zt1000, the other is an Asus EEEPC P900. I have searched extensively through the Cisco docs but there are no clues regarding this behavior. I have disabled the respective windows firewalls, but no luck. No 3rd party firewall software is installed on any of the machines. Any ideas?
