LEAP, ACS, wireless clients

We have a wireless network with Cisco AP's 1200, Cisco ACS over win NT, cisco clients 350. The system works with MAC and LEAP authentication.

Some users want to change their Cisco client 350 to other companies client wireless. I don't know how to configure LEAP authentication with no Cisco clients adapters. Or if its posible to configure EAP with the ACS and have LEAP and EAP at the same time...

Re: LEAP, ACS, wireless clients

LEAP is Cisco proprietary and I don't think that it would be possible to configure LEAP authentication with non Cisco products. However, the access point will support both leap and eap at the same time. The EAP deployment guide will be really useful (http://www.cisco.com/warp/public/cc/pd/sqsw/sq/tech/acstl_wp.htm).

One more bit of information that you need to cross check is if your operating system can be used with EAP (http://www.microsoft.com/WINDOWSXP/pro/techinfo/deployment/wireless/default.asp).
