What can go wrong when the interface of a 515 is up, but the line protocol is down.

Hi,

If the interface is showing up/down (interface up, line protocol down) this would suggest that your link to telco/ISP is down. Have you contacted your telco and checked the line?

Check that the cable are connected correctly and test the cable too.
