Load Balancing / IOS versus CatOS

Folks,

On two sites our 6500 switches are running Cisco IOS. As far as I know 6500 switch provides server load balancing (SLB) for application failover.

Question: Is there any advantage (regarding failover / load balancing) if we migrate from IOS to CatOS? Are there any limitation in CatOS?

The hybrid software cannot do SLB. By hybrid, I mean CatOS on the Supervisor and IOS on the MSFC. You must be running the native, integrated IOS for the SLB feature set.
