I want to have real clock timestamps to my console on my 506E. I have configured my device for ntp and logging timestamp. Is there any command like service timestamps log datetime msec localtime you use on IOS to get the logs in clock format on the pix. I use OS version 6.3.

Hello,
Prior to 7.0 Version of the Pix, Logging Timestamps can be configured only to logging messages sent to a syslog server and not to the console or buffer.
In Pix Version 7.0 and higher, you can enable timestamps by configuring "logging timestamps" and this will send logging messages to the console or buffer with the timestamp on it.
For example:
Pix(config)# Sep 08 2006 00:12:07: %PIX-7-111009: User 'enable_15' exec
uted cmd: show running-config
By the way, 7.0 is not supported on Pix 501 and 506 and you will not be able to upgrade to the 7.x version to get this feature.
I hope it helps.

Arul
