logging with access list

Need help on logging by Cisco 3640 Router with Version 12.0(7)XK1.

With an Syslog server in places, I create an access-list that permit tcp any any log and apply it on the serial interface as input access list. I notice that not all-incoming packets are log. I have also activated the logging console.

I have turn off IP route-cache for all the serial and fastE interface as well

If there is any changes in the interfaces status it was log.

From both the console and the Syslog server I confirm that not all incoming packet are log.

What should I do in order to track all packets passing through the serial interfaces.

You could use the "log-input" option on your access list. Take a look at this document for a better explanation on how to use it: http://www.cisco.com/warp/public/707/22.html
