I have a user that received a new laptop in a remote location. The laptop has been joined to a windows 2003 domain. When the user attempts to login with their network username/password the login fails.
The networks are connected by a Cisco 501 to a Sonicwall Pro 4060. Users in the remote network can ping by name any server in our headquarters so that at least verifies to me that dns is working but there must be something being stopped.
It may be netbios but from what I thought all traffic is allowed across the VPN.
