Changing the Internal int IP on a PIX 515 ver 6.2 from x.x.x.1 to 192.168.1.1 to coincide with the lan... what issues should I be prepared for? Can I export the config through tftp/PDM v2, make all mods, and import?

Could I be so lucky to change the int ip and the PIX auto replicates the IP addr change in all instances of the config?

TIA....

CJ.

some issues to lookout for;

- make sure your LAN clients point to the NEW default gateway

- clear arp table on all devices connected on the inside LAN eg switch, router

- If using DHCP on inside, change the default gateway to the new IP address to be handed out to clients.
