Loss password PIX 515E

After following the procedure for passwords recovery,ping tftp server ok but when i type tftp and i valid, i can not have the expected output,i get nothing. Help

Here is the output of my password recovery attempt:

I will show the last line:

monitor> tftp

tftp npxx.bin@(tftp server ip add)via(gateway ip add)

that is where my procedure stopped.

May be a Silly question but still did u set the ip address and the right gateway ip address properly on the same subnet?

also are you able to ping the pix firewall from the tftp server and vice versa...

Also can you check the tftp services enabled in the server also the root directory having the exact file which you are entering here in the pix prompt.

If possible do try out with a well known TFTP services like 3com or solarwinds instead of window own tftp services..

Also pls make sure that you have the .bin file on the root/tftp directory to which the server is being pointed to..
