lost activation key after ver 6.x to 7.x upgrade

hi all,

we just upgrade a pix 515 e ur from 6.3 to 7.2(1) and we found out in the show version that all the encryptions are diasbled and my activation key is lost.

How can i put back the pix to unrestricted lisence?

My recomendation is to send an email to "licensing@cisco.com" including the "show version" of the PIX and explaining the situation.

They will return the correct key according to their registers about the PIX.

6.x has a four tuple key whereas 7.x has a five tuple key. Basic functionality of the PIX will remain but you will have to regenerate the license for activating DES-3DES-AES. As said...send a mail to licensing@cisco.com.
