Mac OS X/VPN 3015/Client 3.7: Remote Peer Not Responding

Hi,

I have 2 identical Macintosh Titanium PowerBooks. Both are running Mac OS 10.2.6 and Cisco Systems VPN Client v3.7 (REC), using an ATT Worldnet dial-up connection.

One can connect via VPN to the VPN 3015 Concentrator, while the other gets a "Remote Peer is no longer responding" error message.

Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance

As per bug CSCdz86318, if a connection is attempted after the workstation was in sleep mode, the connection attempt fails. However, the second connection attempt is sucessful. This might be the cause of your problem.

Thanks for your reply. Seems that the user had installed Norton Personal Firewall and had left it on. Thanks again.
