Major problem w VPN Client :|

Ok, here it goes- I work for SYMC, and we have a VPN connection on our corp laptops for when we work from home.

I was having issues w mine, and we received an email stating that if we were, to uninstall and reinstall the VPN client, then the IP communicator, and we should be all set. I believe its a symc packaged msi but im not sure (so it will automatically enter the appropriate settings for the connection sites etc).

I have tried EVERYTHING I can think of, from checking folder permissions to deleting the reg entries to ensuring the VPN adapter is not present, and it is all for naught.

It looks like it will install, gets about the whole way through, then finishes with 'thank you for your patience, etc, was not installed successfully.

If I dont get this install to work by tomorrow a.m. I am going to end up having to come in for the day which I'm trying at all costs to avoid. Also tried redownloading the software. Thanks!
