I know named network objects can be created in PIX OS and acl's can use the network object to identify a subnet. Is there any way I can create the equilavent of a named object in cisco IOS on a 2821 router and reference the object as the source address in an extended acl. I am trying to managed 60 different routers with cisco works. Each has the source address of the its own lan interface. If I could create a named object on each 2821 (ie: "LAN SUBNET") pointing to its respective LAN IP subnet, I would not have to create 60 different templates in cisco works every time I needed to make a change. If not, does anyone know of a 3rd Party application to make this easier?
