Managment IP for firewall

how to set the management ip for a firewall say like we have a loopback int for router,switch..

You can't configure a loopback on a Pix. Why doesn't one of the interface addresses work for you? What are you trying to accomplish?

If you are talking about accessing PDM (PIX Device Manger for management) via VPN from a remote site then yes this can be accomplished.

If want to run the PDM from your internal LAN, then again this can also be accomplished.

If you want to connect to the PIX via SSH then this also can be accomplished.

But NO you can not setup loopback addresses on the PIX.

So, which of the above method are you asking for?
