Hi,
The following message appeared on PIX, when i used the "global" command
++++++++++++++
Firewall# global (outside) 1 interface
Warning: Start and End addresses overlap with broadcast address.
outside interface address added to PAT pool
++++++++++++++
I am testing the PIX before using it in Production. It seems to be working though, but is this message something to be worried about ?
Only two interfaces are configured with IP Addresses
++++++++++++
ip address outside x.x.x.58 255.255.255.248
ip address inside 172.16.253.46 255.255.0.0
+++++++++++++++

Hi,
is it possible to post the rest of the config file? I'am wondering what NAT commands are in place.
Regards,
Tom

There were no other NAT commands. Only
nat (inside) 1 .....
As i mentioned before, this bug is mentioned on Cisco's website.
