I'm trying to connect to a customer that has implemented a Microsoft VPN sever using LT2P and preshared keys. I've opened inside to outside UDP/ISAKMP and ESP, added a static mapping from the internal client to a fixed IP address on the outside interface, but I still make the connection. Debug packet shows ISAKMP and ESP flowing to the remote server and some return traffic both on the external and internal interfaces any ideas where to go from here????

Dave,
Take a look at this document from Zandernetworks on PIX/L2TP configuration - very good document I must say.

Hope this helps and let me know how you get on.

Jay,
Thanks that did the trick, I Upgraded the client to SP2 and applied the reg hack and it works great now over udp port 4500.
