Monitor Traffic in PDM

Is it possible to monitor incoming traffic and which ACL it hits in PDM 3.0.2?

Re: Monitor Traffic in PDM

I rarely use the PDM to configure the PIX but you might find the answer in the Users Guide.

Users Guide 3.02:

It is very easy to do monitor traffic from the command line interface CLI, you can use ssh or telnet or the console port to do that. You can also send syslog messages to a syslog server and check the live logs there.

Useful commands:

show log (if logging is enabled into buffer)

capture

sh access-list

Hope that gives you a starting point ?

sincerely

Patrick
