Hi, we have Cisco Conentrator 3000 series and Cisco VPN Client on a laptops.

But sometimes the client has problem with the MTU setting. It can's decrypt data and we have to set MTU to custom, reboot, set MTU to 1300 and reboot again.

Anybody know some bug about this? i can't find nothing in cisco web.

This happen with all versions of VPN Clients.

Regards!

Rodrigo

do you mean that to change the mtu in order to get the vpn working is a bug? or the fact that you have to set mtu to custom, reboot, set mtu to 1300 and then reboot again is a bug?

changeing the mtu is not a bug. it's normal with an unreliable link.

however, the fact that you need to set mtu to custom then 1300, it is a potential bug

Yes, the fact that we have to set mtu to custom, reboot, set mtu to 1300 and then reboot again is a bug.

not sure why it happens.

i tried with my pc and it works fine. how about leave 1300 and don't bother to change it back?
