Multiple VLAN's with same IP

Hi everybody,

i'm sitting in front of a PIX 515E with PIX OS 7.2. I want to seperate my internal lan with 2 vlan's but also don't want to create an additional subnet. Is this possible?

Re: Multiple VLAN's with same IP

Have you tried to configure your firewall in transparent mode? This might help you....

Re: Multiple VLAN's with same IP

If you use the firewall in routed mode it's not possible, because if the packet comes to that subnet the firewall would not know in which vlan to put it.
