mVPN how do I know I'm set up correctly

Good day;

Hi this is my first time setting up a mVPN so not sure if I'm set up the right way. I'm guessing that I'm not as I don't see any mcast packets on my router what can I do to double check I'm set up correctly? The tunnel is up and I can hit their server, when I do a show ip mroute I don't see anything. Anything else that I can verify??

Re: mVPN how do I know I'm set up correctly

IPsec doesnt encapsulate multicast or broadcast traffic

You need GRE over IPSEC on VTI VPN solution

Check this link:

Hope that helps rate if it does

Thank you for the info...I found out that my route wasn't pointing to the tunnel it was going out a different interface. Once i pointed my traffic to the tunnel all was good. thank you for the link it helped me better understand all this. Thanks for your help!!!!!!
