Nat for different subnet behind windows router

Hi everyone, I’ve got strange problem. Pix firewall 6.3 only allows connections to the internet from directly connected subnet. We’ve got windows server 2003 in front of our network which filters web content, it works fine if I do NAT on server, but without it clients on a local subnet cannot connect to the internet. It looks like that:

INTERNET<<<PIX<<<NAT SERVER<<<LAN

Any suggestions?

Re: Nat for different subnet behind windows router

It is difficult to determine the cause without more information, especially on how PIX is configured. What kind of NAT is enabled on PIX, identity nat or nat exemption or static nat etc., whether routing is proper on the PIX etc.
