NDS and NAT

Apparently, you can't do an NDS authentication over a NATed/PATed environment due to that same old story about the "actual IP" being stored in the packet. Does anybody know a way around that? Would a fixup help?

TIA

Dave

Re: NDS and NAT

Well, authentication based on IP is a style that the industry is generally moving away from. This trend is seen primary due to the kind of problems you are facing... i.e. incompatibility between IP based authentication and technologies such as NAT and Caching. I guess the only way is to disable one of the two. I do feel taht the long term goal should be to opt out of using IP based authentication techniques.
