Network Topology Error

Here is what I have:

CSP 2.3.3i

IDS 3.0 installed in cat 6509 (10.0.0.4)

pix6.2 with ip 192.231.232.190/27

router80-81 with ip 204.142.80.252 / 24 and management ip 10.0.0.1 within cat 6509

router89-253 with ip 204.142.89.252 / 24 and management ip 10.0.0.3 within cat 6509. i can telent into the router with either of these ip addresses.

router 80-81 connects vlan 80 and 81 and router 89-253 connects vlan 89 and 253.i can telent into the router with either of these ip addresses.

I am trying the following 2 configurations:

CONFIG # 1

The problem i am facing is that when i make cat 6509 as the most downstream point (with pix as gateway and 10.0.0.4 as ip for cat), i get an error saying :incrrect telnet password". i beleive the diff in network addresses of cat and pix are causing the problem

CONFIG#2

And if I make the internal router 80-81 as most downstream point with pix(/27 add) as gateway and 204.142.80.252/24, cspm discovers all interfaces correctly, but gives a warning that pix ip ip not compatible with any network.

Can someone explain teh solution to bot or either of the above errors??
