New PIX OS v6.2(1) - allows VPN Client to NAT to Internet to PIX?
I am reading the release notes for the new PIX OS 6.2.
Does the following mean we can now use the VPN Client 3.5.1c with IPSec behind a NAT router to Internet to PIX?
"Bi-directional Network Address Translation (NAT)
PIX Firewall software version 6.2 allows Network Address Translation (NAT) of external source IP addresses for packets traveling from the outside interface to an the inside interface. All functionality available with traditional NAT such as fixups, Stateful Failover, dynamic NAT, static NAT, and PAT are available bidirectionally in this release."
No need to use VPN Concentrator 3000 to do the above??? Has anyone tried it yet?

This is for nat or translating outside ip to an internal ip. Before you could only do nat from inside to outside, but now you could do it in reverse, ie from outside to inside. What you are referring to is IPSec thru Nat which is still not supported on the PIX, not probably till the next code release after 6.2.
