Is there a Cisco ssh client I need to download? We are a windows 2003 network. If you could direct me to how to setup ssh on a cisco ios, I would be greatly appreciated. TIA, Gary

You can use any freeware SSH client such as Putty.
Here is a good webpage for configuration and troubleshooting IOS based SSH.

Hope this helps.

It sounds like the feature set of the software running on your device may not include support for SSH. If you post the output of show version we might be able to verify this.

I checked the Software Advisor on CCO and it does not show support for SSH in your version of code. According to the Software Advisor the version closest to what you are running that would suppport SSH ver 1 is this:
12.1(20)EW3 cat4000-i9k2s-mz.12.1-20.EW3
If you feel that it is worth upgrading the code to get SSH support you should consider whether to go to this version or to a version that is a bit newer.
But it looks like you will not get SSH without upgrading the code.
