NHRP Cache Problem

I have a DMVPN setup without IPSEC. My single hub is connected to 10 spokes via pure GRE and I am running OSPF. I set my nhrp holdtime = 5 minutes. When 5 minutes idle time has passed, I do a show ip nhrp and find that the expired connection still remains in the cache as shown below:

tunnel created 5:15, expired

The cache aboved only disappear at 6th minutes. If I do a ping test between 5th minutes and 6th minutes, request timeout is obtained. My ping test starts getting positive response only after 6th minutes where the cache aboved is removed and replaced with a new one as shown below:

tunnel created 0:05 expiring 4:55

How to make the cache disappear immediately at 5th minutes so that I won't have lost connection for 1 minutes, that is between 5th minutes and 6th minutes?

Thanks a lot.

The problem is documented as bug CSCdy45826. You will probably need to upgrade to version in which this has been fixed.
