No default-gateway when i connect to a PIX through VPN

Folks,

Any ideas why i do not get a default gateway when I VPN to my PIX.

you do not get a default gateway.

all packets are just tunnelled to the vpn gateway host then dealt with from there.

If the VPN is using PPTP then a default gateway does (at least should) get assigned, which is simply the address assigned to the connection from the pool. If the connection in this case doesn't get a gateway assigned then the remote host will not be able to connect to anything via the VPN. If this is a PPTP connection, check the box in the connection properties to use the remote default gateway.
