No IPSec to this Sensor

Hello,

I have CSPM 2.3.3 (build 2466) installed and 3.0(2)S10 IDSM in a Cat6509. I would like to setup IPsec between the CSPM console and the IDSM, however the option on the Sensor identification page doesn't show the option to "Use IPSec to this Sensor" I understood that above version 2.5 on the IDSM this was to be available? Any thoughts on this?

Hi Jeff,

Sorry to tell you that the IPsec feature is not available on IDSM sensors. It is available on 3.0 or greater non-IDSM sensors.

Just a clarification - IPSec is only available on the IDS appliance, beginning with version 2.5. It is not currently available on the IDSM.
